Camree gets Baptized!

this is camree 6 or so years ago.

this is camree now:

she was so embarrassed to have her picture taken in front of "all these people" there was really only 2 people walking by but that didn't stop her from smiling. she was so happy to be getting baptized and kept saying how happy she was to get her picture taken and how she couldn't wait to do this again...i'm assuming "this" meant her own photo shoot.

i've been babysitting camree and her brother and sister since they were babies, that's about 10 years now. so she is used to my camera in her face from the time she was a baby. her mom wanted her to do a few serious photos with no smiling but every time she tried she just got a bigger smile on her face. she said she couldn't not smile while i was there haha. i guess i'm way too goofy. anyways here are a few more photos from her very own personal photo shoot!

we did get one or two serious ones. but you can kind of see the smile trying to get out.

Baby Jordyn, Deranged Goose & Alphabet Soup

my cousin had a baby in January so one day i brought my camera over to take her pics but only got 4 because they had to leave early :( so this was pretty much the only one that turned out.

i took Shelley to the park yesterday to work on my new project and this goose attacked us. seriously it put it's head down and started running at us. hahaha i guess you had to be there but it freaked me out at the same time it was hilarious. They are not nice animals and they have TEETH. i never knew it. it followed us around the WHOLE park and to my car, he wouldn't leave us alone. i named him Aslan.

and finally this strange picture is the letter J in my alphabet project. i take photos of things "out in the wild" that look like letters then use it to make words. So far I have a J...that's it haha. I'll work on it and update later.

so this was random but i felt bad for not updating this blog for a long time.

Wilson Family

Progress

if you can believe it i'm actually doing this one photo a day thing again. i haven't missed a day yet. when i did this in 2008 i skipped one day and i thought my life (project) was over so i just stopped. now i realize if i need to i can fudge a little bit but so far i haven't missed a day. some photos might look like the one above from my DSi but i'm ok with that. as long as it's a picture right!

Project 365 take 2

in the year 2008 i decided to take one photo each day. i did REALLY well for the first several months then i got WAy behind on printing them and putting them in order so i only got jan-june done so this year i have made it my goal to start and finish project 365.
what i have to do is each day take a photo that either depicts what that day was like or try to take some "artistic" type photo just depending on the day i guess. last time i think i left it to the last minute too often so this year i plan on keeping track and making time for it.
i tried taking a photo every day in october...it didn't work out but i hope to make it work this year. only time will tell...on to 2010!

412 Excuses...

well not really that many but you get the idea. october ended up being kind of a sucky month and my photo project was strong for the first 2 weeks or so then petered off. way too much stuff happened and i couldn't get caught up. now it's november (yikes!) and i'm sicker than a dog and sore so i don't want to post anything. ugggggghhhhh. so that's all you get. i'm only posting b/c i'm so boreeeed being in bed ALL DAY literally. so this pic is not from october but whatever.

yesterdays photo of the day is from a photo shoot i did with a family in the morning. unfortunately yesterday was a very sunny day and that's not always best with photos so we made it work. i chose these pictures b/c this was some old weird statue we found on the WCC campus we were trying to figure out what it was but couldn't. oh well.

i'm playing catch up today i suppose it's been a busy couple days. on wed. i had to come up with something to teach about photography...well i didn't really plan anything so i just had them ask questions and it ended up being pretty lame but in all that time i guess i forgot to take a real picture of the day. this was a practice picture to get my settings back on track but it's a picture right! whatever the 7th will just be a throwaway day i guess.
